You’re back – well done!

“Good health is fundamental to being able to live a thriving life

Well done for making it back to work! After a 3-week shutdown, it can be a bit of a shock to the system to sit still at a computer and tempting to want to stay forever on holiday, so I always allow myself a couple of gentle days for the holiday brain to settle back into gear.  

As we get into work mode and sharpen our thoughts for 2026, it’s good to remember that we all get the same 12 months, 54 weeks and 365 days, and it’s up to each of us to make the most of it. 

You might have already done a new vision board (I did mine a few weeks ago) as an easy and inspiring way to put pictures to your dreams and wishes – if not, it’s a wonderful light exercise to help you focus. 

I’m super excited for 2026 – it feels as though the world is changing so fast that every day is a new dawn. A bit scary, but also an entrepreneur’s dream!  

For me, the three key things I have set myself for the year are 

  1. Optimising health and personal wellbeing. Good health is fundamental to being able to live a thriving life, so I’ve entered my first sprint triathlon in Feb 2026, and a weekly regimen of exercise, healthy food and rest have already become key features of my year 
  2. Friends and family. One of the big lessons I learnt in 2025 is that human connection is an essential vitamin for me! I recharge in community and thrive on deep soul connections. I’ll be focusing more time and attention to personal friendships and one on one family time. 
  3. My work is a key anchor of my life purpose. I’m really excited to celebrate Fetola’s 20th Anniversary this year; ramping up our future-fit team, new partnerships and product innovations. The future really is very exciting!
